You may have heard of live resin sauce or cured live resin but have you tried live resin cartridges? Translating the distinct aromas and flavors of cannabis flowers into a consumable product is no easy task. After the cannabis plant has been harvested, the many different intermediary processes that occur before you get the final product may eliminate those valuable aromas and flavors.
The different cannabis extraction techniques used purge these elements, creating a concentrate that is often lacking the “essence” of the flower. But fear not, this is where live resin cartridges come in.
So, What Is Live Resin?
Live resin is a form of cannabis concentrate manufactured by utilizing a technique that involves taking freshly harvested cannabis and freezing it to subcritical temperatures before and throughout the process of extraction.
There is a key difference between live resin and other extracting processes. The typical drying and curing procedure can damage the flavorful factory molecules found within the trichomes.
However, with live resin, the plant is flash frozen immediately after the harvest and kept at freezing temperatures throughout the extraction procedure.
Why is this helpful? This process ensures that the plant maintains its valuable terpene profile. It retains its original fragrance and flavor, which can then be carried over to the final product.
The difference between live resin cartridges and other vape products
The main difference between live resin cartridges and the other vape products available is the heightened terpene content found within the live resin. When compared with conventionally cured BHO extracts, live resins carry a more robust terpene concentration on average.
Not only does this mean that you get to experience a more pungent aroma, but the more complex and higher terpene profiles can also result in a higher psychoactive experience because the terpenes interact with CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids. When you combine all of these factors, it is not hard to see why live resin is the best choice.
Live resin vape
It is important to note that not all live resin products are equal so, purchase with caution. The two main differences when it comes to live resin are viscosity and terpene profile. With regard to the former, live resin comes in a number of different forms. The most popular are: shatter, butter, jelly, and sap. But for those who enjoy vaping instead of the many other ways to consume marijuana, live resin vape cartridges are the way to go.
One of our favorite live resins come from Remedy cultivation, 707 Headband. This proprietary strain is perfectly balanced with body and cerebral high that’s great for treating chronic pain and nausea.
The terpene profile will mainly depend on the original strain that was utilized during the extraction process. Therefore, the live plant’s terpene profile will dictate the terpene profile of the concentrate.

Why is there no CBD in LLR vape cartridges? This is my experience at least. My dispensary has plenty of CO2, etc that have 1:1 THC:CBD but not in LLR. Thanks.
How do you smoke live resin? Do you use a water pipe with a dab?
LIVE rosin sauce vapes are made from live rosin that has a peanut butter type consistency…. ((BLue River))) for example just came out with a live rosin sauce vape that is made into a thin oil and is super high in cannabinoids (90% total cannabinoid content about 80-85% thc) and HIGH cannabinoid terpenes….co2 and ethanol that say “solvent free” is more of a marketing scam when the solvents should be completely removed in all concentrates. Check out blue river rosin vape it is incredible. But live Rosin and rosin are a little different.
Live is the way to go and Regular rosin is pressed dry bud to get the cannabinoids out using heat and pressure. Live rosin is made using the live cannabis buds flash frozen At extremely cold temperature immediately and other techniques along with it like static electricity and things like that to get the cannabinoid‘s off and collected it basically slurps all the good stuff off the plant material. Also the Turpines are cannabinoid based terpernes NO botanical Terps or added terps. all the good goo out of the buds with NO heat. And both rosins are dabbable. Live Rosin is the way to go especially blue river ..check em out .. hope this helps..
